Nancy L. Patton

Nancy L. Patton, 84 of Temperance, MI, died Wednesday, November 21, 2018 in her home. Born September 18, 1934, in Temperance, MI, she was the daughter of Howard and Myrtle (Marquardt) Madison. A 1952 graduate from Bedford High School, she married Richard “Bob” Patton on June 27, 1953. He preceded her in death on March 3, 1996. She was an active member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Temperance, where she had served on the church council, was past church secretary and taught Sunday School for several years. Nancy was also a member of the Bedford Senior Center, O.E.S., 391, Samaria and past president and secretary of WELCA.
Surviving are her loving children, Robert (Linda) Patton, Debra Patton Abolt and Donald Patton; brother, James L. Madison; sister, Shirley (Wayne) Heidtman; 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 3-8 pm, Friday, November 23, 2018, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, November 24, 2018. at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, 1690 Sterns Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where she will lie in state after 10:00 am. Pastor Robyn Kistemaker, officiating. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park, Sylvania, OH. Memorials may be made to the church. www.pawlakfuneralhome.com
